Tony Hawk & Friends Tour 2010.

mid-july. me and my room mate arrived very early in the afternoon with a very crowded train we were lucky to find corridor seats in. we were really dirty talking during the travel maybe 'cause of our tired ass and maybe 'cause we had no sleep the night before and planned to sleep on the train (but we didn't because we hd to stand up to let people and luggage go through every 10 minutes). other passengers were just shocked (a nun with them). at the venue the air was orrible. too hot and high humidity that our arms were already sticky as soon as we stepped out of the station. we went for the accreditation there and because of the too-early arrival we sat at an ice-cream stall on the beach to chill a lil. dead sweaty. the good side of being there that earl was to have the possibility to shoot at the practice session (that's where i shot the 'sunny' photos). so we had the press conference where we were like kids in a deserted toy mall. our heros were in front of us and it's been awesome. we had an adventure to get out of the hotel hall where the conferrence had taken place but i won't say about it here. i swear it was hell fun. later we had dinner and enjoyed the big show with huge crowd and had the unbelieveble chance to get on the vert and shoot from up there. breathtaking. you'll see the pictures about this. another big fun it was the journey back: we thought we could party there at the venue all night long - or at least in a close pub or disco or whatever to take a train back early in the very next morning- but at 11.30pm it was all a desert. we first found some girls then old women who helped us out to find the station on foot by night. very long walk to the station to catch a night bus to rome central station. crazy people and timetables and we were there at 3am. sort of. so waited there like homeless people and i confess it was little spookie. we didn't sit at all until 5.30am. our legs definitely hurt like hell and lorenzo almost fell asleep upstanding. i coudn't believe it so we wanted the earliest train to get back home and sleep on the seats on board. they were all too expensive so we chose the longest taking one. obviously we couldn't close one eye there. the air conditioning system was set to max i guess and it was freaking freezing. we finally got home with 3 days without sleep on our backs and dead tired changing 4 trains. but it was fun if i look back now so it was worth it. hope you enjoy the pictures. and please let me say california girls are really the best.
